Erin works as a research analyst in energy storage and renewable energy projections. Based in Golden, Colorado--just a twenty minute drive from Denver--she completed her Bachelor's of Science in Applied Mathematics and Statistics from the Colorado School of Mines. From there, she launched her career as a mathematical statistician working in hydrogen infrastructure and decarbonization of transportation at the National Renewable Energy Lab. 

While working at NREL, Erin engaged with the community through a volunteer project that worked with elementary school girls to encourage more enthusiasm in STEM. In addition to working with elementary school students, Erin found passion in helping folks of any age learn what she could teach in a way that resonated with them. 

Having spent time working with individuals in person, online, and classrooms full of students, Erin is experienced building report with students to see what they need to better understand the material. She loves teaching mathematics and statistics of all flavors and also has passion for life sciences including ecology, environmental science, marine biology and more. Loving to write, she also enjoys helping students with essays and reports. 

In her free time, she plays competitive adult volleyball, paints, reads nonfiction, enjoys scary movies and science fiction, and pampers her 2 dogs and pet snake.
