Laurice graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a Bachelor of Science in Physics and a minor in Math. Throughout her time in college, Laurice worked as tutor providing support and enrichment for elementary school students.

Upon graduating in 2019, Laurice received the Woodrow Wilson Teaching Fellowship and began working on her Master of Arts in Teaching and teaching certification at Mercer University in Georgia. She has worked as a High School Math teacher since.

In the classroom, Laurice strives to connect with her students and meet them at their level. She loves to share and bring the beauty of math to her students by utilizing real world scenarios so students can apply concepts in their every day life.

Outside of the classroom, Laurice can be found baking up a storm or curled up in front of her computer playing cozy video games or watching the newest episodes of her current TV shows. She loves to stay active by rock climbing and hiking.
